This policy explains how JF Media Tech Private Limited ("JF Media Tech", "we", "us") handles personal data in JFM Samvaad, our software for business messaging on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger, and on this website. It is written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

In short. We use your data to run the service you signed up for. We do not sell personal data. The messages and contacts you handle in JFM Samvaad belong to your business; we process them only on your instructions.

2. What we collect

  • When you sign up and use the service: name, email, phone number, business name, password (stored only as a one-way hash), team members you invite, and settings you choose.
  • When you pay: billing name, address and GSTIN, plan and invoice records. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with our payment partners (Razorpay, Cashfree); we do not receive or store full card numbers.
  • When you connect other services: access tokens and IDs for your WhatsApp Business Account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, Shopify store and other integrations you connect. These are stored encrypted.
  • Customer data: whatever your business sends, receives or uploads through JFM Samvaad, including messages, media, contact lists, call recordings and lead forms.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and server logs needed for security and troubleshooting. The console uses a sign-in cookie; this website uses no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no third-party trackers.

3. Why we use it

  • To bill you, issue GST invoices and keep accounting records.
  • To support you, including looking at your account when you ask us to help.

6. How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access tokens for connected services are stored encrypted. Access inside your account is controlled by roles and per-person permissions, and important changes are recorded in an audit log. Our staff can see your account only to support you or to keep the service secure.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate a person to exercise these rights for you. Many changes can be made directly in the console. For anything else, contact us as shown below; we reply within 30 days.

If you are a customer of a business that uses JFM Samvaad, please contact that business first: it decides how your data is used. We will help the business answer your request. To stop receiving messages from a business on WhatsApp, reply STOP or block the number.

8. Children

JFM Samvaad is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children for our own purposes.
